Ha! I was so freaked out by the book I forgot to share my nightly routine.....I always wash my face with my beloved clarisonic, then I do the neit pot, brush my teeth, and roll my dreads.Not very exciting...but it's my usual routine that when I don't do it--everything feels off the next day.Oh, and I read just a tiny bit even--before I turn the lights out.I love that we're reading the same thing!
Sounds wonderful!! I miss reading at night. Now it's all about getting a toddler ready for bed - her bath, hair brushed, teeth brushed, ears cleaned, rocked and cuddle time. By the time she's out I usually fall over in bed while trying to remember if I remembered to brush MY teeth or not. Oh, how life changes!! :)
what a nice routine :) i try to read every night before i got to bed but i usually nod off after a few pages!i have meditations from the mat on my bookshelf :) and i keep the Gita on my nightstand.
i am reading simple abundance too!!! have read bits and pieces before, have had it for years but felt strongly that THIS was the year for me to read it!! let's get our gratitude journals on! <3
Those are two of my favorite books! I read Simple Abundance every morning before I start my day. I've just created a new evening routine - I plan to write in my new gratitude journal every night before bed.Namaste,Mindy
i need to invest in your routine ;) a resolution is to read more-- i use to ALWAYS be in the middle of a book and start a new one quickly after and somewhere i've lost that passion... this has inspired me!x

I am settling into a morning routine that consists of meditation, little yoga, some water with lemon... its a great way to start the day. I do enjoy ending the day with a good read. Currently indulged in Crazy Sexy Diet by Kris Carr-- :] Any relaxing is good with ME!
i love the sound of your evening routine and will certainly let it inspire mine. :) i always write before bed — my mind is always so overactive and writing things out is a must.
