yoga intensive

i know this is WAY late but i wanted to tell you all about my yoga intensive weekend with marlene mawhinney. marlene has been teaching yoga since 1969 and has studied directly with b.k.s. iyengar since 1985. she has been the president and senior teacher at yoga center toronto since 1988.

marlene is a kind, sweet lady and an absolutely amazing teacher. she's very patient and attentive to each individual in her class. she pushes us but also wants us to respect where our limitations are. i highly respect and admire that about her.

if you are from or plan on visiting the toronto area you should definitely try to take a class with marlene so you can experience a sampling of what i had for 11 hours june 5-7th.
