taking a break from studying

first, i want to apologize that i won't be around quite as much as you are used to seeing me. as you saw from my list of june goals, i'll be throwing myself headlong into studying for the GMAT.

i have yet to set an appointment to take the test (that is too much anxiety for me to handle for the moment) but i am planning on taking it in about a month or so. and speaking of anxiety, i get test anxiety pretty bad! i have already taken the GMAT once before (didn't get the score i needed) and let me tell ya, it was horrible! plus, it cost 250 bucks!! so, i want this time to be the last time for obvious reasons!!

at least, this time, i know what to expect on how the test is formatted, where i'm going to take it, the formalities (aka craziness) of the security on coming in and out of the testing center, etc. this time, i am totally focused on the material!

and if the material was something fun (other than math and english) it might be a little more interesting, alas, it is not. but i plug away nonetheless. i have to! i have to get the score i need this time!! AND I WILL!!!

thanks for the encouragement ladies, i am gonna need it :)

glotbetrotting cacti - man are you ever lucky, :) the gmat is the graduate management admission test. simply put, it's for people who want to go back to grad school and get their masters in something business related. i want to go back to graduate school for my MPA (master in professional accountancy).

Go Melita!!! (That is me cheerleading for you!) Happy studying - or is that an oxymoron... lol!

I find that lots of little things to look forward to at my breaks help keep me focused.

Also, inversions! Wish I could do a handstand, but for now I'm good with legs up the wall to get the blood flowing back into my brain :-)
