bonjour june

bonjour june!! can't believe you are already here!! but, since you are, there are a few things i'd like to accomplish during your presence.

  • FINISH my statement of purpose
  • study for the GMAT
  • complete Yoga Diva's sun salutation & meditation challenge, details are on the right hand side of her blog
  • do yoga every day (and with the above challenge this one should be a no brainer!!)

Great goals! You are inspiring me to create a goals list for June. I'll share the list on my blog when I've hammered it out. :-)

Your goals seem very clear - I love setting out monthly intentions, always clears my head. Can I ask what a "statement of purpose" is? Not heard of that term before?

thanks ladies! i love your positive reinforcement!!

since i can't word it better myself: "The Statement of Purpose is the single most important part of your application that will tell the admissions committee who you are, what has influenced your career path so far, your professional interests and where you plan to go from here." taken straight from www.statementofpurpose.com

Thanks Melita - we have a similar section on our job applications but have not heard that term before. Good luck with your application..

Lovelovelove your June goals! I especially like how focused they are, and how you only chose the absolutely most important ones. We all have lots of little goals, but they always seem to get in the way of the larger ones, don't they?

Will you be posting your statement of purpose once it's finished?

kiki- i don't think i'll be posting my stmt of purpose, only because it is so very personal. i dunno, i'll mull the idea around but am putting it as a no at the moment.
