green beauty

i am always on the look out for a good mascara. i recently came across the physicians formula organic wear 100% natural origin mascara and i am loving it!

according to their website it is:

- 100% free of harsh chemicals, synthetic preservatives, parabens, clumping, smudging, flaking, fibers & dyes

- 100% recyclable eco-brush defines each lash with ultra-soft plastic bristles.

if you are looking for a more green, eco-friendly, and awesome mascara i highly recommend this one!

Oh, that looks great! Cute package too. I was actually on the lookout for a new mascara, preferably green, so this is perfect.

How is the smudge factor? I always have trouble with that--I'm an eye rubber.

Melita, I adore this and I reviewed this one several months ago. It is my favorite! I was using Tarte Lash Hugger and this one is better. No smudging, not even in the summer humidity.

I love many Organic Wear items...great quality!

I bought this mascara for my sister and mom, based on Karley's review..:) My mom hasn't used it yet, but my sister has and really liked it. I need to get one for me now!

thanks so much for your feedback ladies - it's ALWAYS appreciated. hugs!!

kate - i got it at target actually :)

grace - the smudge factor isn't too bad. sometimes when i get off the massage table i have to clean it up a bit. i wish there was a water-proof option but i realize that there is probably a lot of non-green things go into making it waterproof. so as far as a non-water proof option, i really like it! hope this helps :)

I'm not into the whole "green" thing, yet. I am taking baby steps, though, but I do LOVE mascara. It is my staple when it comes to makes-up: powder foundation, mascara, lip smackers-flavored.

I am going to order this today. I will give you an honest review after using. I wear contacts, so I wonder how it will affect those, as well.

Love you blog...really! :o)

I wish that I could remember but I recently came across a mascara that TRULY was green. The container was made out of cardboard...no plastic. I didn't try it out but I'd be curious to learn if anyone has had success.
