monday moment of zen

"for fast acting relief, try slowing down."
~ lily tomlin

we know this but somehow we always need a gentle reminder to slow down, especially on a monday morning. this is my gentle reminder to you. before things get hectic at the office, before you see the piles of paperwork that need to be taken care of by lunchtime, before your co-workers start complaining about what a lousy weekend they had... slow down, take 1o deep breaths and center yourself so you can manage your monday with zen.

have a mindful monday and a wonderful week. namaste

Luckily my Monday will consist of what I love most ~ yoga and writing, but I still need to be in the moment. Lovely post!

What a great quote, and I LOVE Lily Tomlin! Thanks for the reminder, as I am one of the few who don't have today off :(

Namaste! I almost did not have a yoga practice this morning, but I took a breath, and made some space.

Have a good week! :)

Love this and it made me giggle!

My life isn't necessarily "busy" (i.e. phone calls, pressing deadlines, etc.) but I've learned that my mind has never shut off from previous busi-ness. This is a perfect reminder that regardless of where or how I'm busy, 10 deep breaths is always the perfect, fast-acting relief.

Bless you!!
